After Tuesdays discussions I was astounded to hear that not a single person in class subscribes to a magazine or newspaper. If I think about my grandparents they still subscribe to the old newspaper and read it daily. However I have noticed they too are relying more on computers and social networks. This to me is HUGE. History as we know it is evolving. Traditionally we think of a young boy or girl as the "paper boy" riding his or her bike around town. With people resorting to things such as iPads or computers and rumors that paper copies may no longer be available I think about how life is evolving so fast before our eyes and I'm not sure I like it too much.
Another comment that took me by surprise is the percentage of people that receive phone calls but they go right to voicemail and the thing that infuriates me is when people see that you call and instead of calling you back they text you. To me I just won't even answer. I like to call the "marinating" stage. So if you are one of those individuals DONT BE MEAN. Call back.

Learning how to Blog
Well here is my first blog! I am new to blogs, and have never followed any or composed any of my own. My goal for this semester is to utilize my blogger and actively participate in class and respond by using this blog space! I am excited for Professor Potter's class and look forward to a fun semester!
